Steven H. Newman Publishes Article in New York Law Journal Analyzing the New Subchapter V of the Bankruptcy Code
Partner Steven Newman recently published an article in the New York Law Journal. His piece provides a primer on the new Subchapter V of the Bankruptcy Code and the new “tool” that Congress created for restructuring mid-size businesses. The article illustrates many of the critical differences between a bankruptcy case under Subchapter V and a case under Chapter 11 and how businesses can benefit from such new chapter under the Bankruptcy Code .
