Timothy J. Holland joined the firm’s litigation department in February 2019; prior to joining, he was an associate in the litigation department at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Tim has extensive experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, having represented corporate and institutional clients in all phases of civil litigation involving contract disputes, securities law, business torts, product liability, ERISA, bankruptcy law, and real estate litigation, among others. Tim also has extensive experience in white collar criminal & regulatory defense work, having represented clients under investigation for insider trading, disclosure-related fraud, interest rate manipulation, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and analogous foreign anti-corruption laws.
Tim has also gained invaluable experience through his pro bono work. In 2014, Legal Services NYC honored Tim by naming him a Top 30 Pro Bono Attorney for his work representing more than 40 indigent tenants in Queens, New York. More recently, Tim has worked with the Center for Constitutional Rights in representing Missouri residents in a civil action against St. Louis County and certain of its police officers concerning alleged constitutional rights violations relating to the County’s Wanteds System. From 2015 through 2018, Tim served on Legal Services NYC’s Associate Advisory Board, which primarily works to develop strategies for leveraging law firm resources to maximize the effectiveness of pro bono representations of low-income New Yorkers.
