Partner Ariel Weinstock Named a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America
Katsky Korins LLP partner Ariel Weinstock has been named a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA). This invitation-only honor is given to a select number of attorneys practicing construction law, with membership limited to just 1200 from the United States and around the world. There are only 82 CLSA Fellows in all of New York State.
The purpose of the CLSA is to recognize deserving, experienced and highly qualified lawyers and advance the practice of construction law. Potential Fellows are evaluated for effectiveness and accomplishments in construction law, along with ethical reputation. The number of full Fellowships has been kept at an exclusive limit by design, allowing qualifications, diversity and inclusion to align effectively.
Weinstock focuses his practice on commercial real estate and construction transactions, including purchase and sale, financing, development, access agreements leasing, property management, organizational planning and structuring, I.R.S. §1031 exchanges, tenancy-in-common arrangements, air rights transactions, and joint ventures. He advises and represents local and national clients on a broad array of design and construction agreements including RFP’s, purchase orders, construction management and alteration agreements, in addition to requisitions, lien waivers and mechanics’ liens and surety bonds.
