Katsky Korins Grows Litigation Group with Two New Partners

Katsky Korins LLP is thrilled to welcome Daniel Walfish and Rachel Penski Fissell as partners to the firm. Walfish and Fissell bring to Katsky Korins an active practice launched at Walfish & Fissell PLLC focused on securities, corporate disputes and regulatory matters.

“We are overjoyed to add Dan and Rachel to the firm. Their extensive securities experience, along with their sophisticated regulatory and enforcement practice, brings a new dimension to our litigation group,” said firm founder David Katsky. “As the firm prepares for its fiftieth anniversary, we are fortunate to have them aboard for our next chapter.”

Walfish is a distinguished former member of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Division, with extensive experience handling investigations conducted by the SEC and other financial regulators. He is also a seasoned commercial litigator with broad experience prosecuting and defending complex, sophisticated cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts.

Fissell is an accomplished commercial and securities litigator with a broad base of experience in high-stakes, cutting-edge matters across an array of industries, including financial services, real estate, entertainment, and hospitality. She has in-depth experience representing clients at the trial and appellate levels and before bankruptcy courts. Fissell also represents clients in regulatory and internal investigations.

“We are extremely proud of the practice we’ve built at Walfish & Fissell PLLC,” said Fissell and Walfish. “Teaming up with the exceptional lawyers at Katsky Korins allows us to deepen our litigation and regulatory practice while remaining focused on delivering the same high-quality, cost-effective services.”
