Biography
Rob Abrams is a partner in the firm’s bankruptcy and creditors’ rights department. He concentrates his practice in matters concerning foreclosure law, bankruptcy proceedings, preferential and fraudulent conveyance avoidance actions, out-of-court restructurings, partnership disputes, construction disputes, mechanic’s liens, collections, and post-judgment enforcement proceedings. Rob’s broad range of representation includes corporate debtors, secured lenders, landlords, tenants, purchasers of distressed assets, creditors’ committees, trustees, developers, and contractors. Rob is also a Court fiduciary and presided over multiple contested evidentiary hearings in foreclosure proceedings and in partition actions. He has also served as an arbitrator in commercial disputes and lectured for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Real Estate Committee.
