Biography
Joshua David Riegel joined the firm’s litigation department in August 2021, after serving as Clerk to Judge Jenny Rivera of the New York State Court of Appeals. Joshua represents clients in complex commercial matters at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts. He gained invaluable experience through his judicial clerkships for Judge Rivera and, before that, for Judge Victor A. Bolden of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, as well as through his work as a Marvin M. Karpatkin Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union and an Excelsior Service Fellow at the New York State Industrial Board of Appeals. He was also a summer law clerk while in law school at the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., and the New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice.
