Biography
Jade advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of assets, joint ventures, financings, corporate structurings, private fund investments and general corporate governance. She represents multinational companies, investors, shareholders, fiduciaries, and ultra-high net worth individuals and families in various cross-border and domestic corporate transactions. She also serves as outside general counsel for clients, providing strategic guidance on day-to-day corporate and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Katsky Korins, Jade was an attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, focusing on M&A, corporate governance and private fund formations. She also gained in-house experience as a private equity legal secondee at Apollo Global Management. Most recently, Jade practiced at a boutique law firm, where she counseled international and domestic multi-generational family clients, privately held companies, trusts and non-profit organizations on an extensive range of corporate, personal and succession planning matters.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Jade is fluent in English and Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. She enjoys leveraging her bicultural background to work and connect with clients in their native language whenever possible.
