Biography
Fernanda Gutheil joined the firm’s Corporate Department in 2019. Prior to joining Katsky Korins, Fernanda developed an extensive, diverse, and international practice. She started her legal career in Brazil as a litigation lawyer focusing on labor and civil cases. Subsequently, she shifted her concentration to transactional and corporate matters. She worked as in-house counsel at a media conglomerate, as the general counsel for an entertainment company, and later as the corporate partner of a boutique law firm.
During her career, Fernanda has focused on commercial and intellectual property transactions and has advised high-profile individuals in entertainment, music, and high-end design industries. She has also represented investors and innovative start-up companies in a full range of services, including corporate structure, fundraising, intellectual property, licensing, contracts, executive compensation, labor & employment, corporate governance policies, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
At Katsky Korins, Fernanda uses her broad experience and international background to counsel clients across a wide range of transactions. She also supports other departments with her experience with international entities and individuals, and cross-border transactions and litigation.
