Biography
Brittany E. Sherman joined the firm's litigation department in July 2023. Brittany started her career as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, followed by Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP. She maintains a broad complex commercial litigation practice; including representing clients in residential mortgage-backed securities cases, multidistrict litigation, and contract disputes. Brittany also has extensive experience working on internal investigations. Additionally, her pro bono experience includes significant responsibility in a civil assault and battery case in addition to a racial discrimination and retaliation dispute. Brittany is also involved with the New York City Bar Association, serving on the Social Events and Networking (New Lawyers Council) Committee.
During law school, Brittany held several judicial internships, including with the Hon. Jill Konviser of the New York Supreme Court, Criminal Branch and the Hon. Marcy Kahn of the New York Supreme Court’s Appellate Division, First Department. Before law school, she interned with Manhattan Legal Services.
