Biography
Aytan Y. Bellin, who recently joined the firm as Counsel, has been an attorney for over 30 years. Aytan’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, class action defense, estate litigation, elder law, and guardianships. Aytan has extensive experience litigating individual and class-action cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts, from case initiation through appeal.
Prior to joining the firm, Aytan was Founder and Managing Attorney of the law firm of Bellin & Associates LLC for 22 years. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County under Robert Morgenthau, and clerked for Judge Kenneth Conboy of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Aytan was also counsel to the New York State Task Force on Life and the Law, a nationally-recognized interdisciplinary commission, appointed by the New York State Governor, with a mandate to develop legal, ethical and policy recommendations for New York State on issues raised by medical advances.
